My name is Jeroen Huyghebaert. I had an PPL, but it became more and more expensive. Therefore I searched something that was cheaper. So I've found Simkits.And after almost a year of building, I have again the feeling that I'm sitting in a " real plane". I'm building a Corsair Fu4-1D. I made the main structure of my pit of wood (MDF) and the outside of alumium. The chair is also in wood (MDF) and the frontpanel is plastic ( plexiglass ).It's the intentions that as much possible parts are in alumium.But thats for later because it takes a lot of work to draw everything on paper and then make the parts. As you know is cockpitbuilding a never ending story and my pit is far from finished, but I recently found the photos back and decided to put them on the site.
