Rallye 235 simpit project.

Here are some pics of my Rallye 235 simpit project.
It's based on a real Rallye 892-a fuselage that I got my hands on in November 2003. The interior is going to be painted and fixed up as soon as I get my hardware to work as I want them. A radio stack and a video projector is next thing on the wishing list. The plane was laying around overgrown by tall grass since 1995, when it was blown over upside down and badly damaged. And taken out of use that same year. And it was completely stripped out of parts. Just a empty shell. I have built the instrument panel and windshield and the seats myself, with the help of photos. Even the control sticks are homemade out of stainless steel tubing. The Rallye 235 however, will have a yoke and a console between the two seats with engine controls and trims.
So it's going to take a while before the Rallye is in perfect condition.
For now it's a mishmash of many types of Rallyes. The sticks and flaps lever from 892 Commodore, the console under the main panel with elevator trim and fuel selector from 894 Minerva and now main instrument panel from Rallye 235. The reason I have opted for the last built Rallye is of course it has more "bells and whistles". More instruments, and better looking engine controls console. And Yokes.
