In an earlier sim the SimKits gauges were fitted in a real B727 panel.
My next sim was a real Beechcraft Queenair fuselage with an early Kingair A90 instrument panel and glareshield.
The yoke potentiometers and rudder potentiometer were all fitted and working and all the engine and propeller controls were working too, so it was all "flyable".
The latest sim is a Fokker F27 using the same instruments but some with new faceplates of my own design, and recalibrated.I have a 6 speaker surround sound setup with the rear and middle speakers hidden behind the trim.
The outside view will be via my Infocus projector and onto a screen 3 metres wide.At the moment the captain's flight instruments are running on a CCU and the engine instruments via a multi controller.
A Hagstrom keyboard encoder will be used for any elements not supported by the CCU/MCs.
